It works (2010-05-17)
Well it works better than the old battery. The charge doesn't last that long. We didn't return it because we use the laptop all the time. Next time I will buy from dell.

This battery is trash. It lasted less than one month before it died. Do not buy this.
1/2 price = 2x value (2009-12-18)
No problems - works perfectly in my Dell 1521, price is 1/2 that of a Dell-branded battery. Good value.
Unsatisfied (2009-11-24)
I would NOT recommend this product within a few days the battery life indicator peeled off within 3 weeks the product no longer worked I called for a refund and yet have not received the return box nor a refund it has been over 2 1/2 months
Good Replacement for a Dell Inspirion 1520 (2009-11-09)
The battery fit in my DELL INSPIRON 1520 without any issues. It has a similar LED indicator on the battery that tells you the level it is at.
I get 3 odd hours roughly the same as I used to get with my original DELL battery (when I bought my laptop).
It was delivered on the day that I was supposed to receive it (Expected Delivery date).
