Amazon.com Product Description
The original kick scooter just got a whole lot better, making it even more fun for kids and teens alike. Though it'll never replace the internal combustion engine, the Razor A2 will get your child from point A to point B much quicker than on foot alone, and requires just a few scoots of one's shoes in the process. Plus, it's a blast to use, as your progeny will likely attest.

The Razor A2 is built of aircraft-grade aluminum, a sturdy material that holds up to use and abuse through the years. Razor combined the traditional aluminum construction, however, with a number of recent innovations, including a springless shock system that makes bumpy pavement feel smoother than ever and an all-new wheelie bar that guarantees an extra dollop of fun. Add in the foldable T-tube and deck, which tuck together to create a compact footprint (ideal for carrying when riding isn't appropriate), and you have a great kick scooter for virtually any situation. Other details include an enhanced finger guard, 98 mm inline-style wheels, and a patented rear fender brake for quick stops.

This version of the Razor A2, which weighs around 6 pounds and supports up to 143 pounds, and is recommended for ages 5 and older. It's also backed by a six-month warranty. For the next step up, try the Razor A3 Scooter.

Key Features:

  • Six-month warranty

The buyer and rider of the Razor A2 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

Customer Reviews

color lighter (2010-02-06)
The purple wheels and grips are lighter in color than they appear in the picture. My 10 year old son who like dark purple did not like the color as it looked too light and girly.

Lots of fun (2010-02-05)
My seven year old son loves this scooter and I have fun riding it, too. He rides it to the bus stop every morning. Under his 60 pounds it just glides along. It's a bit slower for me, but I have a great time taking it home, anyway. My husband is over the weight limit, so he just folds it up. The folding and unfolding is easy enough for our son to do, too.

nice scooter (2010-02-05)
My girls wanted scooters for Christmas. Since I needed to buy 2 I needed to find a scooter in different colors. the girls love these. They are durable and there is a good selection of colors. Easy to assemble.

Razor Scooter (2010-01-30)
This was bought as a gift for our 7 year old grandson so he could keep up with his 3 year old cousin. They have the best time on their scooters. I love how portable it is when to go to each others houses, much easier than throwing the bike in the car.

Razor A2 Scooter Purple (2010-01-30)
We got this for Christmas for our daughter and she loves it! It was a nice transition from the 3 wheel scooter. And she of course loves the purple color.
